Etowah Sports Hall of Fame

Eligibility Guidelines for HOF Nominees: 

1. Etowah student/athlete that must have graduated from Etowah a minimum of seven (7) years removed from the graduation class of Etowah may be eligible for nomination.    

2. A coach/administrator becomes eligible for nomination if they meet one or more of the following requirements. 

1. Served at Etowah High School for a minimum of 7 years and has been three (3) years separated from his/her service at Etowah High School. 

2. Served at Etowah High School for twenty (20) years of total service 

3. Was a head coach or assistant coach that won a state championship or was a runner-up state championship for a GHSA sanctioned event. 

3. A single season team must have graduated all members of the team for a minimum of 5 years after the championship year for a GHSA sanctioned event. 

4. A community coach that had been with Etowah programs for a minimum of 20 years and is 3 years removed from coaching at Etowah. 

5. A contributor/supporter to Etowah High School must have mad significant contributions for a minimum of 20 or more total years. 

6. A posthumous coach/administrator/contributor can be nominated at any time. 

7. A deceased student athlete can and shall only be posthumously after the graduation of his/her senior class graduation.
