CCSD Students Place in Countywide Art Competition
Five Cherokee County School District student artists earned honors in a countywide competition!
The annual Cherokee County High School Art Competition, sponsored by the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners, the school district and other partners, is open to all CCSD high school students.
First- through third-place winners were selected by a judging panel, with a Cherokee Choice Award selected by members of the public who viewed the artwork on display at local libraries. This year’s theme was “The Beauty of the Earth in Cherokee.” Congratulations to our students and their art teachers, thank you to the sponsors and judges, and thank you to our School Board for its investment in the arts!
Creekview High School Class of 2025 graduate Alyssa Leach earned first place for her artwork, “Memory Lane.”
