Meet a CCSD 2023 Support Staff Employee of the Year: Lisa Funderburk of Etowah High School!

Lisa serves as the instructional lead strategist. She has eight years of service with CCSD, including four in her current role.

In her principal’s words: “Lisa truly understands her role and how to use it to positively impact our teachers and students. She has built strong, positive and trusting relationships with the staff by being actively involved in team meetings and implementing ways to recognize staff and showcase the great things happening in our classrooms. This building of trust has impacted teaching and learning; she has challenged teachers to step outside their comfort zones to help our students be more successful. Lisa is the embodiment of exceptionalism among support at Etowah High School.”
